Glacier Lagoon Beach, often coined “The Diamond Beach” is to the south of the Glacier Lagoon. There are two popular locations for photography on the beach, with separate entrances on both sides of the bridge, that crosses the outflow from the Glacier Lagoon. The icebergs on the beach are from icebergs flowing into the ocean from the Glacier Lagoon, washing up on the beach because of the surf and swell from the Atlantic ocean. This location is a spectacular place for photography and making good images is possible in nearly all kinds of weather. Beware of the strength of the waves, they can suck you out, or fling an iceberg onto you or your feet, be careful!
